Nemo figured that he just needed prove to himself that Sarah Beth was just another girl. But how? Maybe if he spent more time with her, he would realize that she was all wrong for him and then he could move on with his life. The thought of spending time with her made him smile.
Nemo knew that he couldn't just walk up to her and ask her out, he had to take it one step at a time. He had to get her to trust him again.

Prince Nemo went on with his life. He continued to use girls as if they were objects, not people. Most of the girls left his thoughts as soon as he left them. Except for one. No matter what he did, he couldn't get the girl out of his head. Usually when he started to think of her, he would catch himself and force himself to focus on other things. She was just an ordinary girl. Nothing special. But for some reason, his head seemed to think otherwise.

I would like to say that things got better after that for Sarah Beth, sadly, that would be a lie. Nemo basically treated her like a mere acquaintance, like nothing had happened between them. It tore Sarah Beth's heart in two. In the weeks that slowly inched by, she slowly started to heal and move on. She couldn't believe that she had been such an idiot. Well, she wouldn't make that mistake again. She would get over the stupid prince. Eventually, she would forget him and move on.

Nemo and Sarah Beth spent the whole week together. Everyone thought they were such a cute couple. Sarah Beth was hesitant to open her heart to someone new because she had been hurt in the past, yet Nemo seemed different. She slowly started to let the prince in.
The week flew by in a flurry of cherry red blushes and hidden hand holding. Sarah Beth was in paradise.
Yet every fairy tale has to come to an end. The last day of the trip had come. All they had to look forward to was a seven hour ride on a bus packed with grumpy people. At least they managed to get a seat together. Sarah Beth spent the long ride comfortably in Nemo's strong arms. She managed to stay awake the entire time even though they had long since said goodnight to the late hour of the night. Nemo dozed on and off most of the time up till the last hour. The last hour the two spent in deep conversation. When the bus reached home, Sarah Beth floated off the bus, lost in happy thought. After loading her bags into the car, she stood waiting in the falling snow for Nemo to finish his conversation with his brother and come say goodbye. Eventually, Nemo made his way to her side and put an arm around her cold, shaking shoulders. He drew her in for a brief half hug, then turn and vanished into the swirling darkness without so much as a goodbye.

So Prince Nemo took his pick. He chose a short blond farm girl named Sarah Beth. Nemo cranked up the charm and swaggered up to her. It took about thirty seconds for her to fall for his masculine charm. All the fair maidens in the land were jealous, except for the ones who were already taken.
Once upon a time...
in a land far far away, there was a handsome prince named Prince Nemo. Prince Nemo was tall, had striking blue eyes,  a farmers tan, and a dorky little mustache. Now Prince Nemo was mostly a pretty attractive young man, minus the mustache. So it was no surprise that he had a girlfriend. Her name was Lady Blackwell. Well, Prince Nemo was about to go on a short trip to the magical land of California but, the day before he left, Lady Blackwell dumped him like last weeks chicken casserole. His heart wasn't broken, but it was kinda banged up. He really liked Lady Blackwell, but oh well. There would be other girls. So, he moved on. He would just pick out a new girl from the numerous fair ladies going on the trip with him. He knew that it wasn't nice to look for a girl when he was on the rebound, but he figured the girl wouldn't really care. She should just feel lucky that he was paying any attention to her at all.
